This piece was painted in November 29, 2005 one late afternoon on the
aspen filled ridge above jim creek in
Winter Park Colorado. Temperatures this day were at about 27 degrees
and this was painted at approximately 10,000’. The view is facing south
looking at the mary jane ski area several ridges away and behind a
thick grove of aspens. Created with ink, direct snowmelt, chalk, and
vodka on 10 x 14 cold press paper.
