this piece was painted july 8 2005
from the curved log at little pine camp around mile
71 on the middle fork of the salmon river in central
idaho. the view is facing upstream looking towards
the infamous hike at the little pine overlooking the
jack creek gorge. the elevation atop the hike is the
exact elevation as indian creek guard station, nearly
fifty miles upstream.
this is a giclee from a limited edition of 36 (the
age of the artist)
